LUXYOGA Vinyasa is a gently heated practice that includes simple and accessible Pranayama (breath control) and meditation techniques. Each class builds logically from warm-up to a structural apex that clarifies the connection between a macro conceptual view of the body and a micro understanding of specific poses and body parts. The circle is closed with a wind-down, yoga nidra and mediation. This practice is the optimal combination of stillness-oriented Hatha Yoga therapy and movement-oriented training techniques. You will move to warm-up, coax your body-mind to connect via breath and when everything is perfect, class will slow down for concentrated work that allows you to master the concepts that give you poses and progress long after your retreat has ended. This is our practice, the fruit of decades of combined experience and we give everything we know that safely builds awareness - then flexibility and strength - to align and ground you in relation to your body and the world. LUX Vinyasa will not conform you to a specific style but give you the physical and mental tools to train for the vast variables of life.
